Head West Salon has been a part of Historic Folsom since 1996. It expanded May 5, 2006. The Art of Skin (owned by Shannon Grimes) was next door providing day spa services. In the spring of 2006, she purchased Head West and combined the two businesses to what is now called Head West Salon and Spa, now the complete experience.

Head West Salon and Spa provides an elegant, upscale, relaxing, yet trendy atmosphere; a refuge for creative talent and artistic expression. We are nestled in the heart of Folsom California's Historic District, surrounded by antique shops, boutiques, a museum, and fine eateries.

Head West is just a stones throw away from the American River Basin. You can enjoy these wonderful views from our front deck/patio, which is adorned with benches, bistro tables, a water fountain, lemon trees, ivy, roses, bamboo, and other beautiful foliage. This is the perfect place to relax after your massage and/or facial or to hang out and eat during your catered wedding party.
